About OutThereHQ
OutThereHQ started as a dive shop struggling with the wrong tools. Today it's a platform for hundreds of outdoor adventure operators worldwide.
"Generic software was never built for the outdoors. We're fixing that, one vertical at a time."
The OutThereHQ Mission
Our founders were running a dive operation and spent more time fighting spreadsheets and duct-taped booking tools than they did in the water. They started building something better.
DiveOutHere launched to 12 dive shops. Within six months, operators were reporting 60–70% reductions in admin time. We knew we were onto something.
We rebuilt the core as OutThereHQ — a platform that could power multiple adventure verticals with shared infrastructure but purpose-built experiences for each.
Nine verticals live. 500+ operators on six continents. 50,000 bookings processed every month. Still building, still obsessing over the details.
We'd rather be truly excellent for dive operators than mediocre for everyone. Each vertical goes deep on the specifics that matter.
Every major feature starts with conversations with the people who'll use it. We've done thousands of hours of operator interviews.
Every screen, every flow, every word is there because it needs to be. We cut more features than we ship.
We're building a company that will outlast the current hype cycle. No growth-at-all-costs, no VC pressure to rush. Sustainable, profitable, independent.
We're a small, focused team of outdoor enthusiasts and software engineers. Many of us have worked as guides, instructors, and operators ourselves. We build what we'd want to use.
We're hiring — especially engineers who love the outdoors. Get in touch →
